We appreciate that not all families can make our fantastic Tuesday morning playgroups, so we have launched a series of three weekend playgroups in 2022.  Our third weekend playgroup is Saturday 27 August 2022 from 10am to 12.30pm. You don't need to stay for the whole session - you're welcome to pop in around nap times and other commitments. All multiples, siblings and families are welcome - even if your twins haven't been born yet! To add to the fun JoJo's Music will be joining us at 11am for a music class.  Weekend playgroup will be FREE of charge, including a light lunch provided for parents and a coffee run (thanks to a generous grant from the City of Boroondara and Rotary Club of Balwyn). Please bring along some morning tea/lunch for your children (no nuts or popcorn please). CAMBA is proud to offer a First Aid & Serious Illness Awareness for Multiples training session.   The session will be run by Ms Fiona Kyprianou, paediatrician. The session will cover First Aid (including CPR) for infants and children, and how to recognise symptoms of a serious illness.   Event details: Sunday 21 August Time: 9.45am for a 10.00am start. Venue: Bowen Street Community Centre, 102 Bowen St, Camberwell  Cost: $20 per person (plus booking fee) - REGISTER HERE   There are limited places available and this event is open to CAMBA members and their families (please ensure you purchase a ticket for each guest that will be attending) . After a 2 year hiatus we are back baby! We have all been waiting on the platform very patiently for this one. Members who have been in CAMBA pre 2020 would know that this event is where it's at! So, get the wellies on, jackets and beanies as this event will be happening no matter what the elements offer up! (hopefully anyway) This year we have locked in the private picnic area located in the middle of the track, here we have tables, chairs, BBQ, and shelter from the elements. We also have our very own platform. As this is a private event we can do as many rides as you please - don't worry we have 3 hours to do loops, so if you need to juggle nap times, sports, other commitments then we will be here from 10am - 1pm.  CAMBA will be offering a Sausage Sizzle to feed those hungry mouths, so please bring along some gold coins or your cards. We will have the square tap n go option up and running as well. This event is a fundraiser for the club so any donations will be used towards any future events or projects we can offer back to you. We may also have some extra goodies there too!  Ticket sales close on Wednesday 10th August. However, for planning purposes we would really appreciate it if you could kindly buy your ticket as soon as possible.  There is also a great park next to the miniature railway if you need a break from the train! (to enable the kids to burn even more energy!)
